About Arthur Murray Dance Studio of San Jose
In 1923, Arthur Murray opened his first studio in New York City! Then, in 1925, he launched the first Arthur Murray System of Teaching where he trained dance instructors for the Statler Hotel chain. His motto was “If you can walk, we can teach you how to dance.”
Today, Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Studios is the second oldest franchise and has grown to over 200 studios worldwide. His studios are now present on six continents including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, England, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Latvia, Puerto Rico, South Africa and the United States.

I can't make any other studio my home studio. This place has such a homey feeling that can not be replicated. AMSJ has stolen my heart.

If you need wedding dance lessons, this is the place to go to, as the instructors here are so friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating! I'd contacted a couple of other studios before, and was told that we needed months of lessons for a wedding dance and that they couldn't teach us ONE dance. I found that snobbish. As my husband and I had NO time to do that, this studio was willing to help us in the week that we had and we learned enough in 3 private lessons to do a reasonable first dance and were quite happy with that. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to learn a first dance in a short amount of time, and they're probably great for those with more time!
